We work with trusted organic farms throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Whatcom County (Lynden, Everson) and the Willamette Valley in Oregon, where we collect seeds during the berry harvest. Because organic crop yields are smaller and certified farms are less common, we partner with a select group of growers to meet our production needs.

Once collected, seeds are dried near the processing sheds at temperatures below 120°F to preserve nutrients and maintain oil stability. We cold-press and plate-filter the oil in small, artisanal batches at our food-grade facility on Vashon Island. This vertically integrated process, from drying to pressing to fulfillment, is entirely handled by our family, ensuring freshness, quality, and full transparency.

There are so many fake oils out there, the odds of getting an authentic one is far less than getting an adulterated or completely inauthentic oil (or rancid, or refined, or all of the above, etc.).
